Choreographic DVD

Simple staging that’s easy enough for anyone to learn! Step-by-step instructions on a handy DVD give you choreography and staging ideas that you can use or add to your own routines. The DVD includes full choreography for all of the major musical numbers from the show.

Each number is filmed four different ways:

Performance An “MTV” style of shooting that features the musical number in full tempo with many camera angles giving you the excitement of being on stage.

Step-By-Step This version is performed at half tempo and features a voice over with the choreographer’s commentary. It’s easy to understand the flow of the dance when you hear it in the choreographer’s own words.

Choreography Details Breaking it down even further, this version simulates a rehearsal and features the choreographer standing on stage describing the most challenging steps of the number piece by piece to the actors as they “learn the dance.”

Easy Note-Taking Shot with one camera from straight on—as if the camera were dead center in the first row of the mezzanine—this “big picture” version gives you the best way to jot down all of the choreography.
